GOVERNMENT AND PARTNER SALES MANAGER POSITION
On behalf of client, Kazinikwetu Ltd is looking for a Government & Partner Sales Manager to be based in Tanzania. The desired candidate should have experience in ICT/Engineering Industry
Overall Job Objective:
Meet the Sales target on Government
Manage the partners across Tanzania
Creating partner strategies and ensuring meeting the partner targets
To explore avenues (especially from the Government sector) for increasing/harnesting the business potential of the company through the implementation of sound business strategies.
Proactively working on tenders and creating the sustained business line.
Detailed Job Responsibilities:
· To advise on business opportunities in Public Sector (MDAs, Parastatal Organisations, etc )
· To work with the marketing section in organising Promotions, Presentations, Advertisements, Brochures, Leaflets, organising Client Forum (e.g. Cocktails, Breakfast meetings), Exhibitions / Demonstrations, Seminars, Launches, press releases, conferences and announcements etc.
Creating and building relationship with prospects and building a reputable client base
Preparation of Bids (or proposals) for Tenders and quotation along with the accounts sales managers and the sales co-ordinator,
Making sure the partner reconciliation is done in time and partner paid in time.
All the partner contracts done in time
Follow-ups/Chasing of payments from the clients.
Undertaking any other duties that may reasonably be regarded as being commensurate with the general purpose of the post
Any other work related duties as given by the SME Head
Business Management/ Financial:
To give updated info for partners
Identifying and developing suitable prospects to approach for selling the company's Products, Solutions and Services
Providing regular feedback and ideas at weekly, monthly and Quarterly Sales meetings
Job Outputs:
Achieve the Revenue Targets (Revenues and Costs)
Partner account management in totality
Achieve a good Market Share.
Minimum Educational Qualifications: Bachelor Degree
Minimum Work Experience and Technical Experience:
At Least 5 years in the ICT Industry after a Degree (Preferably in in ICT/Engineering or Business )
Good working knowledge of the Communication Industry and different forms of Internet and Data Connectivity - Good Information & Communication Technology (ICT) skills.
An understanding of the Marketing needs of prospective clients (esp. the Government sector)
Understanding and recent experience of VSAT, Wireless and Fiber Optics sales.
The ability to understand and work with sales figures, sales targets and basic financial administration.
